You’re looking for great lifestyle shots of your product for your website, but the product is mostly white and creases with a glance! That was the problem posed by The Duvet Store.

The Solution:
A top quality photographer with experience of shooting beds and bed linen, a period residence sensitively decorated by an interior designer with a flair for accessories and a furniture hire company specialising in renting props for the stage…oh and not forgetting the keen eye and Art Direction of Barry, our Lead Designer.

Malcolm Menzies hails from Iona, but has been plying his trade in London for a number of years, building a prestigious portfolio of clients through some excellent lifestyle photography. He has a great eye for light and shadow, no doubt influenced by his upbringing in the Inner Hebrides and produced some great shots. His assistant Ben was a real life Billy Whizz, ensuring all equipment was primed and ready to go, the products were ironed and room settings rotated providing variety within the shots.

Jane Adams lives in the shoot location, an old manse in Farnell, originally owned by her parents. Jane is an interior designer specialising in the restoration of older properties and the manse is a work in progress which she has been gradually reviving as time permits. A truly wonderful location and a photographers dream.
