This year, Avian proudly sponsors the Best Newcomer award at ‘The Menu Food & Drink awards 2019.’

The awards, organised by The Courier, will celebrate the outstanding achievements of the best producers and purveyors of quality food and drink across the Dundee, Fife, Perthshire and Angus area and will be hosted at the prestigious Old Course Hotel in St Andrews on the 28th of March. Returning top chef Jak O’Donnell, who is the chef patron of the acclaimed Sisters Restaurant in Kelvingrove, Glasgow will be hosting the event.

The award ceremony consists of 11 categories, with four new categories being added this year: ‘Best Craft Beer’, ‘Best Craft Distiller’, ‘Cocktail Bar of the Year’ and ‘Best Newcomer’.

The ceremony will not only celebrate the winners however, it will also showcase a five-course menu created by the five top chefs in the area. Each course will celebrate each individual chef and will come alongside a complementing wine.
