Iconic, historic and dynamic, Scotland’s Forth Bridges are a wonder of the modern world. Towering side by side over the Firth of Forth, these structures represent the pinnacle of engineering from three centuries.
To commemorate the opening of The Queensferry Crossing (the 3rd bridge) Avian was approached to create an all inclusive brand that would consolidate the identities of the three bridges and promote The Forth Bridges as a leading Scottish tourist attraction. The biggest challenge faced by the design team was how to best represent the three bridges visually as they are very different structures build over three centuries. It was of great importance that each bridge should equal billing within the logo device. The identity is now used across all public facing platforms that deal with the day to day running of the bridges and is implemented across all social, website and branded material.
