Sweetzone is a well known brand of confectionery sold mainly within the United Kingdom and Ireland, and also available within parts of Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Their products have been distributed nationally throughout the UK since 2003, and the brand is well represented in most major towns and cities throughout the UK.
Having made successful inroads onto the retail market SweetZone required a professional look and feel to further aid their sales and range of new products. Avian worked together with SweetZone to refresh their core brand identity and style. While an exciting new visual approach was created we worked hard to ensure that elements of the founding brand style were retained to avoid alienating existing customers.
The brand development process involved logo development, character development of the ‘SweetZone Guy’, packaging design for all bags and tub labels as well as other brand applications to items like stationery. It also involved eating a lot of sweets (for research purposes of course).
We wanted to create brand that would compete with the big name confectioners and ultimately look as good as it tastes. We like to think we achieved that.
